Scenes from my kitchen

It's a busy little place, it's how we entertain ourselves and learn all sorts of things. Like what carrots look like right out of the ground, what compost is, what happens if you put too much dough in the bread pan, and on and on and on.

Your house looks like a very fun place to learn at. Good work, mama!

Hey you do composting? How did you make it work? Ken tried and tried and it was always just a tub of garbage, never dirt. Tell us your secrets, please!

As always, your pix are lovely. I just love kids in the kitchen, too, so I'm thrilled to read about all the great things y'all are learning in that room. All math starts in the kitchen!!

@Heather, I have not actually made compost in the traditional sense. I just spread scraps from the kitchen around the dirt of the garden and let it decompose there. Next year I might try real composting. We'll see how it goes.
