1. My new camera! My new camera! Did I mention my new camera?? It's incredible and complicated but I'm having a lot of fun learning. I would also like to thank Husband for ignoring the pile of dirty laundry as I obsess with it. :-)

2. Homemade ice cream sandwiches at my mom's house. My sister made chocolate chip cookies (my favorite!) a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream, wrapped them in tin foil and popped them in the freezer for a few minutes. Sticky, drippy goodness after a dip in the pool. Summer is here and we are making the best of it.

3. Buying some cute Christmas decorations and hearing the Fripits talk excitedly about the "Cripus" tree. Also, I think the Absters fear of snowmen is really cute.

4. A shoe box full of peanut butter cups in my freezer. These were sent to me by my mother in law and make a great snack after I wake up from my nap. Ahhh...a little luxury.

5. Free photoshop actions which give a fun, edgy look to my pictures. Loving these!

Good list. I like your cool photos, and would love to see the camera. I started buying Christmas ornaments this week too. Every year I think I don´t need anymore, but when I see them, I can´t resist! :)

Yeah for new cameras. They're definitely a learning curve for me though! Have fun learning to work yours. And high five to your hubby for the ignoring of the laundry pile to let you have your fun!

Wait... you're not going to say what your new camera is?! Congrats anyway and enjoy your new toy!

My husband is a rural mail carrier and he has asked for that new Flip camera for Christmas. The man never asks for anything. He's definitely going to get it!

He sees so many interesting things on his route: the cow that jogged ahead of him, looking back to see if he was keeping up...he just barely rolled along hoping it would step off the road into the pasture; the dog that met him at the mailbox and brought his goat friend too; the list just goes on and he wants to share them with us.

I've been looking for new ornaments this year as I always do...except I'm trying to do a theme tree in our new "stay-cation room" -- sorta beachy and fun. I've had no luck finding ready-made ornaments, so I'm going to buy seashells and drill holes for hangers and see what I can do with that.

Thanks for sharing your faves!

A new camera is really cool. I too just got one a month or so ago when my cybershot was dropped in the water! So I had to replace it and I went with a nikon.
